Course Description
This course consolidates the literacy, communication, creative, and critical thinking skills necessary for success in both academic and daily life. Students analyse a range of challenging literary, informational, and graphic texts from various periods, countries, and cultures. They also create oral, written, and media texts in a variety of forms. The curriculum focuses on clear and confident use of academic language, purposeful reading and reading strategy, and developing greater control in writing.
