Course Description
Grade 1 Social Studies helps children understand their place in the world by exploring their own roles, relationships, and responsibilities. Students learn about the people, traditions, and significant events that shape their families and communities. Interactive animated lessons make local places, roles, and everyday journeys easy and fun to understand. Children begin to see how their neighbourhood works and how people care for one another and their surroundings. The course is aligned to the Ontario elementary curriculum and celebrates belonging and community.
