Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and procedures of accounting. Students will develop financial analysis and decision-making skills that will assist them in future studies and/or career opportunities in business. Through the various units, students will acquire an understanding of computerised accounting and financial analysis; learn how to process accounts for both service and merchandise-based businesses; and develop an understanding of current ethical issues in the field of accounting.
