Course Description
This course focuses on the relationship between the physical environment and human activities. You will explore how natural features — including landforms, climate, and natural resources — influence where and how people live in Canada and around the world. Topics include the physical patterns of the Earth, natural resource extraction, environmental sustainability, and how communities respond to natural events and disasters. Through interactive animated lessons, you will develop skills in geographic inquiry, spatial analysis, and critical thinking while gaining a deeper understanding of your place within the natural world.
