Course Description

This course introduces you to fundamental science concepts through four interconnected strands: Life Systems, Structures and Mechanisms, Matter and Energy, and Earth and Space Systems. You will investigate interactions within ecosystems, explore how structures are designed to bear loads, examine the properties of pure substances and mixtures, and study the nature of heat and its effects on matter. Through hands-on virtual investigations and interactive animated lessons, you will develop your skills in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and communication. This course lays the groundwork for success in Grade 8 Science and beyond.
