Course Description
Grade 5 Social Studies examines the experiences and perspectives of diverse groups in Canada and how government works to serve communities. Students explore First Nations, Metis, and Inuit perspectives alongside the development of Canada's social and political systems. Interactive animated lessons make government, citizenship, and Canada's interactions with the environment engaging and clear. Learners consider rights, responsibilities, and how decisions affect people and places. The course is aligned to the Ontario elementary curriculum and builds informed, thoughtful citizens.
