Course Description
This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to explore key areas of environmental science. Students will examine current topics in environmental science with an emphasis on practical applications of scientific and mathematical literacy. Topics include human impact on the environment, human health and the environment, energy conservation, natural resource science and management, and workplace safety.
Prerequisite: SNC1D, or SNC1P, or SNC1W, Grade 9 De-streamed Science
