ART6G: The Arts

Grade 6 The Arts develops students' creative skills and critical understanding across dance, drama, music, and visual arts. Learners choreograph and refine movement works, develop sustained dramatic pieces, perform and compose more complex music, and create artwork that applies the elements and principles of design with intention. Interactive animated lessons encourage students to express ideas thoughtfully and critique a range of artistic works. Through reflective practice, learners grow as confident, articulate artists. The course follows the Ontario elementary curriculum and deepens artistic literacy.
