LAN6G: Language

Grade 6 Language develops sophisticated reading, writing, and communication skills as students prepare for the intermediate years. Learners analyze complex texts, evaluate evidence and bias, and write extended narratives, reports, and persuasive arguments with a clear voice. Interactive animated lessons strengthen vocabulary, research, and the full writing process from planning to publishing. Students refine formal presentation skills and critically examine how media construct meaning. The course is aligned to the Ontario elementary curriculum and builds independent, capable communicators.
