Course Description
Grade 6 Social Studies broadens students' perspective to Canada's diverse communities and the wider global community. Learners examine the experiences of different groups in Canada, the nation's connections to the world, and global issues that affect people and the environment. Interactive animated lessons make cultural diversity, global trade, and international cooperation engaging and clear. Students consider rights, responsibilities, and how their choices connect to people and places worldwide. The course is aligned to the Ontario elementary curriculum and develops globally aware citizens.
